Monsoon Malabar coffee beans are specially processed during the months of June to September when India sees the monsoon season sweep through its western coastal belt.
Chiswell's of London Monsoon Malabar coffee beans arrive at the port of Malabar in India where they are laid out on concrete patios in open-sided warehouses and exposed to these tropical monsoon rains. Uniquely they are exposed to the monsoon rains for 12-16 weeks until they have adopted their signature pale gold colour, ready for export.
Medium-bodied, Dark Roasted, beautifully smooth with a sweet, spicy kick, these special Monsoon Malabar Coffee Beans are unique to the lush Malabar Coast of Karnataka and Kerala, where it has protected status.
