Strong Rio Colombian Dark Roast Coffee Beans 4x1kg are hand-roasted until the “second crack”. This longer roasting process creates a fantastically, dark chocolate-caramel, slightly sweet coffee with a strong floral aroma.
Sourced in the Medellin Mountains of Northern Colombia, these Rio Colombian Supremo Dark Roast coffee beans are roasted longer to gain strength, body, and a deliciously rich dark chocolate taste.
Rio Colombian Dark Roast coffee beans are grown at high altitudes, usually in the shade of banana or rubber trees. The rich, well-drained volcanic soil of Colombian mountains provides the perfect conditions for growing coffee, and it is the “terroir” that lends Rio Colombian Supremo Dark Roast its unique flavour.
